Paragliding from Riffelberg (2582m) over Zermatt

Join me for an adrenaline-filled adventure to the beautiful valley of Zermatt. Paraglide through the Swiss Alps from Riffelberg, located at 2,582 meters.

Riffelberg is filled with breathtaking views and local history. It is the place where Zermatt opened its first mountain hotel and it also has Zermatt’s finest vantage point.

The take-off point of this adventure is located a few walking minutes away from the Riffelberg station in the Gornergrat Train. You can either take the train to that station and walk or take advantage of the ride and continue by train the whole line. That way, you’ll enjoy unforgettable views of the glaciers and the highest peaks of the Alps. You can then hike back for an hour to our meeting point or take back the train to Riffelberg station.

Our flight time is of approximately 20 minutes over Riffelalp and across the valley of Zermatt, our landing spot. We’ll be rewarded with stunning views of the Matterhorn and many other 4,000-meter peaks.

This trip is definitely not recommended for those afraid of heights!
