Description

The Penon de Ifach is a gorgeous rock formation that rises 332 meters from the sea.

Located in Valenica, Spain, the Penon de Ifach is not only stunning to admire, but it is also a lot of fun to climb. And when you reach the top the views are nothing short of amazing. In fact, the views are so incredible that on a clear day you can see the island of Ibiza. You will also get to see a bounty of wildlife and plant life throughout the climb, along with the blissful blue water of the Mediterranean.

For a full day, using the equipment which is included in the cost of the trip, we will make our way to the top of the Penon de Ifach. We will climb either on the north or south face to the top. And for the descent, we will make our way back down along the north face.

The climb is not exceedingly difficult, but can be demanding at points. However, I will see to it that you are safely guided throughout the adventure. Thus giving you a secure and enjoyable experience.

Participants on this trip should be in good physical condition. Having some previous rock climbing experience is an advantage as well because it will open up more challenging routes.

Terrific scenery and a great climb make this a must trip for anybody spending time in Valencia. So if you would like to get some exercise, and enjoy some of the best views you will ever get, this trip is for you. Just send me a request, come to Calpe, and let me guide you to the top of the Penon de Ifach.

Mountain Leader

My name is Picus Mazarredo and I am a sports technician in high mountain and sports technician in Climbing.

My passion has always been the mountain, as a child I remember the walks through the Pyrenees as something that has marked my life.
Trekking, snowshoeing and especially climbing, making ridges or ferratas is what I like the most and that is why I decided to make it my profession.

Since these studies did not exist in Valencia, I had to go out and look for them. This led me to study the Certificate of Initiation to the Mountain in Barcelona and later the Sports Technician of Media Mountain in Benasque where I stayed for a few years working as a guide in the Pyrenees.
Later I studied the Sports Technician in Climbing and I am currently studying with the Superior Sports Technician in Climbing.
