Posets peak 2-day mountaineering in the Pyrenees

Are you ready to climb the Jean Arlaud Corridor and reach the summit of the Posets peak? So, keep reading my proposal!

The Posets peak, with its 3375 meters of altitude, is the second highest summit of the Pyrenees. Moreover, this great mountain offers all kind of outdoor activities, from classic mountaineering to high quality climbing itineraries.

Today I come to propose you a 2-day summit ascent. The most famous ascent routes starts in the mountain huts of Viados, Estes and Angel Orus. However, the base to climb this beautiful and affordable corridor is the Viados refuge. You can get to there by a suitable and gentle trail.

As for the itinerary, during the first day of adventure a transfer will take us to the Viados Hut. After that, a 45-minute walk leads us to the Clot cabin, where we’ll spend the night.

The second day starts early at dawn so we can reach and climb the corridor with plenty of time. Once at the summit of Posets Peak, we’ll enjoy an incredible view.
