Description

Come with me to this half-day program and have a wonderful time kayaking in Río Mijares, near Montanejos.

Situated across Aragon and Valencia, the Mijares River is an amazing opportunity to enjoy beginners whitewater kayaking. Its upper section offers a beautiful natural environment.

On this program, we will meet in Montanejos at 9.30 am, check the equipment and head to the river in our vehicles. Before going into the water, we will talk about safety and have a short course about the use of the equipment.

Around 11 am, we will begin the descent in La Monzona, a small village near Puebla de Arenoso. Soon, we will start facing our first rapids and enjoy the activity until the Arenós Reservoir. Once we finish the route, we will return the equipment and head back to Montanejos.

As I mentioned, this program is perfect for beginners, so you don’t need to have prior experience. I will teach you about the activity’s basics before the descent.

Mountain Guide

I am a nature and mountain sports lover. Climbing and canyoning are my specialty, although I have also developed my profession as a rafting and kayaking guide. I also work as an instructor for future canyoning guides.
