I will guide you on this epic and awesome half-day of rock climbing for beginners in Bornholm, Denmark, an absolutely stunning, beautiful and gorgeous island in the Baltic Sea where you will learn the best skills, techniques and methods to begin rock climbing, all whilst taking in and admiring the sensational views and scenery that surrounds us.
Bornholm is a Danish island located in the Baltic Sea, and is a popular tourist destination in the Summer owing to its warm weather and abundance of natural scenery ranging from large rock formations to lush green forests and sandy beaches. This makes it an excellent locale for outdoor activities.
Our rock climbing adventure will last for approximately 3 hours, and over the course of this time you will be learning about the best and safest practices needed to begin rock climbing.
After learning the basic techniques it is then time to give climbing a go, and we offer a wide range of rock faces of differing levels of difficulty so as to cater to people of all abilities.
We will make sure you have the confidence to complete some of these climbs, and we only use top rails, meaning you can climb in complete assurance and safety.
The views and landscape around us are breath taking, with the raw natural scenery and terrain that covers much of the island proving a sumptuous sight.
After our 3 hours together hopefully you will have gained the skills and confidence to tackle more challenging rock climbing, whilst also having fallen a bit more in love with this lovely part of the world.

I am the owner of Bornholms Outdoorcenter. We provide experiences in rock climbing, abseiling, kayaking, diving and mountain biking with experienced instructors. Climbing in Vang Quarry, diving in Allinge and mountain biking in Nordskoven are some of our favourite trips. We are looking forward to taking you out on an adventure!

Thank you explore-share for a wonderful via feratta experience. We have been wanting to learn for a long time but don't have the facilities in Scotland. The guide Mitja was extremely helpful and knowledgeable, answering all my many questions and providing advice. On the day head to take another group but he quickly arranged another guide Borut, who was brilliant. We had a fantastic morning learning via ferrata at Hvadnik in the gorge. It gave us the confidence to later hire our own equipment and go out in Mojstrana. Altogether a five star + experience. Thank you.
