Description

Although Prades might not be the most famous rock climbing spot, it is without any doubt, one of the best locations for this amazing sport in Spain. And within this incredible place near Barcelona, we’ll find countless spots including Siurana, Montsant and Margalef.

All these wonderful places offer over 5,000 routes of limestone walls and thrilling multi-pitch routes. Just in Margalef and Siurana, we can find more than half the world’s 9b rock climbing routes. Also, their location is ideal. They are very close to Barcelona. Thus, getting there is quite easy.

Moreover, this is a private trip. Therefore we will define the itinerary together, based on your requests and desires. Plus, I will take into careful consideration your previous experience and level of expertise. So we can choose the right routes and pitches depending on your skills.

So, if you are an expert climber, I will take you to some spots where you can definitely challenge yourself. As an intermediate rock climber we can focus on improving your techniques. But if you are a beginner, I can take you to quiet spots where you can gain more confidence. What’s more, I will follow you closely throughout our journey, making sure you are safe and enjoying yourself.

Two days is just enough to unveil all the beauty and fun of Prades. If you wish to explore it with me, just send me a request. It would be my pleasure to be your guide on this marvellous place.

Would you like to discover another part of the country? I also guide this 1-day private rock climbing around Montserrat, Spain.

Can't honestly recommend this service. The guide (not Toti) showed up on two hours of sleep and struggled to put up 7a routes, even bailing halfway up a 6c that I subsequently finished. His knowledge of the areas was years outdated, so I chose my routes from the book, and my favorite climbs were in areas he told me were out of season but turned out fine. He was Facebooking the whole time and even made an (important) call while setting up a belay. He took plenty of pictures of himself but only one of me, when I specifically requested it. The posted charge was wrong, but by then I had already paid Explore-Share, and we ended up haggling on the hike out. He was a nice guy, he went to the areas I wanted, set up the routes, ticked the holds, and caught me, but this outfit needs to up their game on all the little things that separate a climbing partner from a climbing guide.

The communication was a bit confussing with the website and all, but the climbing trip was amazing. Toti knows all the good spots for all difficulties in the area, and I got to stay at his hostel for a few nights in the Pyrenees where there is good food and hiking.
