Hello! My name is Pablo. I was born in Cantabria (northern Spain) in 1984.
I'm alpinist, nature and a lover of my home, el Valle de Liébana. I work as a local guide in Picos de Europa National Park, the first National Park of Spain. I do organize adventure trips and several-day expeditions combining hiking and climbings. After ten years working in these lands as a guide, I set out my own mountain guide service company, Liébana Aventura. I try to keep a close relationship with my clients and share my knowledge, love and respect for this very rugged and at the same time beautiful environment. My certifications are: Sports technician II in mountain, climbing and cannyoning / Member of the Spanish Association of Mountain Guides No. 1107.
I climbed Aguja de Ostaicoechea in Picos de Europa. Pablo is a very Professional Local Guide.
We climbed the Espolón rojizo with Pablo in July 2020. Although we have some experience climbing indoors, it was our first time rock climbing. We had a fantastic time with Pablo, he is very knowledgeable in climbing and about the area. He made us feel very safe all along the climb and descent. We will definitely be coming back for some more rock climbing!
Perfect Guide. Very Safe and he Knows Everything in Picos de Europa. Top Level. I climbed with Pablo Pico Urriellu, Horcados Rojos and Torrecerredo.
I have visited with Pablo different emblematic places of the Picos de Europa such as the fantastic Naranjo de Bulnes through different routes. Normally every summer I have enjoyed rock climbing with his company. My experience with Pablo has been fantastic. He is a passionate guide of his work that always has safety by flag, very friendly and pleasant. I recommend 100%.
Unforgettable experience with Pablo!! He was very patient with me (It was my first time on traditional climbing) and made the guidance very fun. He transmits security in all his actions and under my point of view he represents what a good leader should have. After this he became my personal guide for every adventure I want to do. Totally recommended!!
He is a really good guide. My experience with him was excelent.
Pablo is a great guide! Professional, good humour, he does lower the tension when you are in a tight spot allowing me to fully enjoy the climb while achieving goals above my comfort zone! I climbed with him Vía Casiopea (August 2019) and Arista pico Cabrón-Torrecerredo (august 2018), and I’ll repeat this summer!

I am 76 years old and I had an excellent treatment with Pablo climbing Naranjo de Bulnes. He knew how to help me to reach the summit! It was a great experience. I am so happy about doing that. I will do it again in the moment that I can.
I'm afraid of heights, and Pablo taught me to climb. It's something that was unimaginable for me before. In a few lines, he is a great professional and an even better person. He guided me in Picos de Europa, La Pedriza, Valencia, Alicante y Riglos. Mainly trad climbing, but also some sport climbing and canyoning.
Pablo helps you to enjoy any activity in a marvellous way. He is always in control, showing security. A great guide, he makes every experience a unique one. I never hesitate to book him as my guide for all mountain activities. I've done with him trekking and trad climbs in Picos de Europa, climbing in La Pedriza, Mallos de Riglos, Puig Campana, and in Cantabria.
Such a fantastic experience with Pablo. Very good climber and you will be very safe on his hands. Salud y roca!
It was an amazing experience. Pablo is an exceptional guide, very professional and focused on security. He loves the mountain, and shares the feeling to the ones who, like me, are lucky to share an experience with him. In 2017 I climbed with him aguja de la Canalona and Urriellu peak by Cepeda route. In 2018 we climbed Keroseno and North routes in Agero peak. I've also done with Pablo sport climbing, canyoning, and trekking in Picos de Europa.
