Roll with the Welsh hills that guard the western coastline along 180 miles of excellent trails.
Run along the extreme edges of Pembrokeshire, always ascending and descending short but steep hills.
The county lies in the southwest of Wales and is home to many award-winning beaches and national parks. The region is geographically diverse where fishing and mining was historically important.
The region’s prehistory has also been extensively studied given its rich archaeological sites, from Neolithic burial chambers to castles.
With our trail shadowing the shore, there’s an abundance of wildlife to spot, especially the barking seals beneath and birds climbing the skies before diving towards the waters.
After each day we’ll watch the spectacular sunset dip below the hills and slip under the sea.
We begin in the village of St Dogmaels in the extreme north of Pembrokeshire. Over the days we’ll be running with increasing length, 28 in the first day, then 35, 36, and 39 miles before our final day of 40 miles brings us to the extreme southern Pembrokeshire village of Amroth.
Due to the long lengths of running per day, it is necessary for potential participants to have a very good level of fitness and stamina.
