This is a self-guided trip, so I’ll give you all the advice you need to explore the best parts of the region and then you’ll go off on your own to create exceptional memories.

Little Switzerland

This region is often known as “Little Switzerland” for its hilly landscape. There is so much more to it than just that though. The Mullerthal has a rich geological history. This is evident in the impressive rock formations that you’ll come across on your hikes. You’ll also come across charming fields, forests, and beautiful panoramic views of picture-perfect valleys.

You’ll explore the Mëllerdall Nature Park which is also a geopark, created to protect and celebrate the geological history.

What  to expect

There are different hikes to choose from on this trip, some more difficult and some, easier. When you arrive at the hotel, I’ll be able to give you a better idea of what to expect, then you can decide which option you want to choose.

We had a really fantastic day of bouldering in Fontainebleau with our guide Ivan. He is very experienced and knows the region well. He showed us great boulders and routes that we would not have found on our own, and kept a good pace to keep us going for the full six hours.

Derek

My guide Ivan was friendly and helpful. With his tips I was able to climb routes that seemed impossible at first

Darren

Leo was brilliant, engaging with kids and always asked what we wanted. Top bloke all round

Morten

We got a guide for backcountry skiing in Chamonix. The guide was excellent in fulfilling our wishes even though the viability was poor and snow layer thin. Our goals was to in a quiet nature area with not too many people. We ended up with 1000 meter gain and a ski through the forest over a 6 hour period. I was one of my best ski experiences.
