Description

Join one of our guides and discover the wild and unusual loops in the heart of the Chartreuse.

The Chartreuse mountains are part of the Jura range in the French Alps. They are located between Grenoble, Chambéry, Voiron, and Saint-Laurent-du-Pont. The Chartreuse are some of the wettest mountains in the region. When winter is cold enough, precipitations turn to snow and they become a powder haven!

There are many loops that offer a wide variety of landscapes and skiing options. Deep forests, large curves, and peaks that open to the horizon are some of the sights you can expect. Chartreuse is a unique spot for ski touring, one that you will never forget.

On these flexible winter programs, we will have the chance to explore the peaks of the Chartreuse Mountains. We will create the ideal program for you, according to your preferences and level. Keep in mind that you will need some prior skiing experience and a good fitness level as we will have to skin up the peaks we choose to ski on. Of course, we will be there to help and guide you.

So, are you ready for an exciting ski touring adventure in the Chartreuse Mountains? Then contact us now and let’s start planning a unique winter experience together!

Very nice trip. The via ferrate was not very difficult. We could finish it in about 1hour and a half. The remaining time we did another (small, slightly more difficult) via ferrata and some climbing. Great guide.

Pont-à-Lesse via ferrata is gorgeous, and Willy is the best guide one can wish for: very knowledgeable and calm. This was my very first ferrata, and Willy helped me feel and be safe. Many thanks!

Such a great way to experience climbing in another country/area! Ivan was my climbing guide and he was super knowledgable and supportive. We went through warm ups, stretches, and best falling practices before we began. I'm an intermediate climber and I learned a lot and felt very safe! He even showed me exercises that could help improve my technique. I'm super grateful I booked through explore-share and plan to do so again when I'm traveling!

We had a great day with Leo. He drove us to a spot with many problems from easy to hard. He was super supportive and positive and gave excellent coaching and climbing advice. He didn't just give beta but really worked with us on the subtle techniques necessary at Fontainebleau.

Petit couac pendant l'organisation, mais tout est rentré dans l'ordre et c'est très bien passé au final
