Description

Situated slightly west of Chamonix and the iconic Mont Blanc, Combloux is a small resort town that boasts plenty of excellent ski touring!

Join us for a fun and scenic 1+ day skiing experience on La Crève-Coeur and enjoy some of the best powder and finest scenery in all of France.

The route lasts for 5.8 kilometers and includes a 784-meter ascent, which requires a relatively good level of physical fitness to accomplish.

After taking a lift from the Bouchet car park, we will head through a forest, enjoying the stark contrast of green coniferous trees and the white snow, as we go.

Once out of the forest, we will head steadily upwards until we reach the Plaine Joux plateau before heading up to the La Croix panoramic viewpoint. From here, there is a bit more ascending before we reach the summit.

We will enjoy some astoundingly beautiful panoramic vistas, including brilliant views out toward Mont Blanc, before heading back down one of the various routes back to where we started.

Thank you explore-share for a wonderful via feratta experience. We have been wanting to learn for a long time but don't have the facilities in Scotland.
