Join me in this 8-day trip to go ski touring in Iceland. Amazing views, unspoiled tracks and hot springs are some of the reasons that make this program unforgettable!
Iceland is one of the best spot for ski touring. Nature here is austere, pure, simple exuberant and ascetic. It will touch your heart forever. The trip is based in the fishing village of Olafsfjordur on the Troll Peninsula where you’ll have access to different mountain ranges and practically endless possibilities for skiing fresh tracks every day.
This versatile terrain is made up of peaks ranging between 800 and 1100 meters so there’s always great skiing in variable conditions.
At the end of the day, you can find a warm place to relax your muscles in Iceland’s natural hot springs.
As a result of the continual daylight of the Arctic Sun overhead and mild temperatures, snow conditions remain favorable for ski touring in Iceland with great corn skiing and often powder well into mid-May.
