Description

This Solitary rock climbing 1-day course near Calcena, Spain is for those climbers with experience who would like to tackle some solo climbing.

Our course will take place in Calcena, a quiet town located in the province of Zaragoza. This region offers a varied and uncrowded rock climbing area with great limestone walls and charming plateaus and valleys.

During this one day program participants will become familiar with the dynamics of 1st and 2nd progression; learn about the different self-locking systems and most importantly, learn how to manage the essential characteristics of solo climbing. By learning the theory and by learning how to train the mind, climbers will be able to put into practice these new concepts. Hopefully, at the end of the day, participants will be able to carry out several long solo tracks thanks to all the confidence incorporated during this program.

Necessary equipment:

*Harness, helmet and climbing shoes. *Reverse and 10 carabiners of insurance, at least one of them with anti-rotation system. *Rope of 70m. *14 tapes of various sizes. *Anchor line, tree lines. *Chest harness, material holder or 120cm ribbon ring. *1 delta belt or 1 symmetrical carabiner.
