Description

I invite you to join me in this 4-day sport climbing course in St.Lorenzen, in the beautiful valley of Lesachtal, Austria. We will learn, climb and enjoy every moment of this course!

We will stay at the Wolayersee hut, a perfect place to learn the secrets of top rope climbing. Besides, we will be able to relax on the spa area after the climb.

In the case of sport climbing, a distinction is made between top rope climbing, which ensures rope safety from above, and climbing with a rope from below. Therefore, in top rope climbing, the rope is already at the end of the climbing route, which gives more safety to the climber.

You can learn all about it in this basic course. When leading a climb, the climber has to bring the rope itself from below to the end of the route, then at the turning point it allows a safer abseil.

The course content is the following:

• Climbing rules
• Partner check
• Correct back up -Dynamic back up
• Threading at the turning point
• Correct grasping and climbing

So contact me if you want to join this 4-day sport climbing course! I will be happy to answer any questions you may have about this program. We will have a great time out in the rocks in Lesachtal!

I also offer a 5-day introductory via ferrata course in Liesing, Lesachtal. Check it out!

Helene and myself are the owners of the Hepi lodge. A space for mountaineers, climbers, skiing enthusiasts where besides offering the accommodation service we proposed varied programmes of different activities: rock climbing, ski touring, canyoning, hiking tours.

I guide most of my time in Lesachtal Valley: St Lorenzen, St Jakob, Birnbaum, Karnische Alps and Lienz Dolomites.

I love guiding people from all around the world and help them discover my region and its beauties doing what they like most! Feel free to contact me to discuss about your expectations and what I can offer you. We will share a great time together!
