Sunset hike to the top of Mount Raymond, near Salt Lake City

A beautiful peak in Utah, Mount Raymond (3,121m) is a great place to hike, especially during sunset, which is when this day trip will take place.

During the sunset, you will get to enjoy some truly spectacular views that you will never forget. From every direction, you will get to gaze far into the rich, stunning landscape. You will also get to admire the amazing Wasatch Mountains, including Dromedary Peak. To the east you will get to see the big Cottonwood Canyon. Meanwhile, to the west you will get to see Salt Lake City, which is quite nearby.

The path we will be taking to the summit of Mount Raymond is not very difficult. It is also very beautiful and follows a lovely river. You will also get to hike through the amazing Cottonwood Forest, as well as several meadows as you make your way up the peak. During the spring, the meadows are full of wildflowers. So, don’t forget to bring your camera.

While the trek to the summit of Mount Raymond is not very difficult, we will be trekking all day. As a result, participants on this trip should be good physical condition.
