Description

Come with me to this amazing rock climbing adventure in the Taillon Peak, a summit of the Pyrenees located on the border between Spain and France, within the Ordesa and Monte Perdido National Park.

There are many classic ascents in the Pyrenees, some more difficult than others. However, I believe that the north face of the Taillon peak must be in the curriculum of every Pyrenees lover.

The Taillon peak has a stable slope of 55º with a great exposure on its north face. It is a high level climbing since the quality of the snow has a lot of influence in the ascent. In fact, depending on the amount of snow, we will have 2 climbing options to choose, both of similar difficulty.

The Taillon peak also has a 700-meter wall. Therefore, reaching the summit can be difficult. On the other hand, the descent will be done by the Gabietos glacier, towards the Bujaruelo port and it is a quite gentle trail.

This rock climbing trip on the north face of the Taillon peak will take us 2 amazing days. The departure dates run during the month of April. All participants must have some prior experience in rock climbing. In addition, a good physical shape will be also necessary.

Contact me if you want to start with the booking process. It will be a honor for me to lead you up to the summit of the stunning Taillon peak, in the Pyrenees.

Martin provided us with a challenging weekend that stretched and developed our skiing a lot. He was very responsive to our feedback tailoring the programme as we went. Would absolutely book him again.

We enjoyed this trip in the Alps very much!! It was an excellent introduction to mountaineering and the stunning peaks of the Alps massive. Our guide Martin made the full experience a succes; pushing us to the limits, keeping us safe at difficult rocky ascents, but also taking time to enjoy the scenery and the climb. Thanks a lot for the beautiful pictures too!

Excellent experience! Martin is a real expert guide and he managed to adapt the program even when the snow conditions were poor so that we still got to do everything we wanted. Very honest, reliable, and friendly guide. He's very education focussed so we came away from the holiday with a lot of new skills as well. Outstanding trip.

This was a great 4-day hut-to-hut ski experience in the Pyrenees. The national park of Aiguestortes is beautiful and we had a lot of snow. Martin is a professional and social guide. He makes sure that the trip takes place from a pleasant and secure way. Due to the weather conditions we couldn't do the climb to the Montardo and to the Ratera, but Martin organized some alternatives to enjoy the 4 days. We were an international group and could communicate with Martin in English.
