Description

Home to some of the world's most incredible scenery and wildlife, a Tanzania National Parks tour should be at the top of every adventurers bucket list!

Over the course of 4 days, we will see as much of this incredible landscape as we can, heading to the serengeti, an incredible crater and a lake teeming with wildlife.

As we go, expect to see the famed Big Five – lions, African elephants, Cape buffalos, leopards, and rhinoceros – along with many other species across the three parks and reserves that we will visit!

The fun begins after we meet in Arusha and drive to Lake Manyara National Park. We'll head on our first game drive here, passing through a lush acacia forest with giant fig and mahogany trees.

With the backdrop of the lake, we will hopefully get to see baboons, blue monkeys, giraffes, buffaloes, elephants and impalas.

From Lake Manyara, we continue on to Serengeti National Park. In the local language, serengeti means "endless plains", an apt description considering the park covers 18,000 square kilometers (6,900 sq. miles).

As we go on various game drives across this incredible landscape, we'll get the chance to see zebras, wildebeest, antelope, lions, cheetahs, leopards and hyenas, among many others.

Following our visit to Serengeti National Park, we will continue on to Ngorongoro reserve, the eight wonder of the natural world.

We will descend into the massive crater, which sprawls over 264 square kilometers (102 sq miles) and boasts walls that are 600 meters high (2,000 feet). Here, we will drive through the varied landscapes and see virtually all the wildlife native to East Africa! It's truly an unforgettable experience.

Sadly, this is when our trip comes to an end. We return to Arusha the following day from Ngorongoro reserve.

Itinerary

Day 1: Lake Manyara National Park

After picking you up from your hotel at 8 am, we will drive across the Great Rift Valley and on to Lake Manyara National Park. Here, we will go on a game drive and get the chance to see giraffes, elephants, buffaloes and impalas.

Day 2: Sernegeti National Park

After an early breakfast, we will drive on to Serengeti National Park, the most famous one in the world. Here, we will go on more game drives and see even more incredible wildlife.

Day 3: Sernegeti to Ngorongoro

We will wake up early to get in a morning game drive in Serengeti National Park before driving on to Ngorongoro reserve. We will then descend into the crater and get the chance to see all of the incredible wildlife and scenery found within it.

Day 4: Ngorongoro Crater to Arusha

We will head back into the crater for one last game drive in the morning, before heading back to Arusha.
