Itinerary

Day 1: Day one

We’ll pick you up at Dubrovnik Airport and take you to the Zupa Valley. Along the way, we’ll stop in Mostar and explore this old city and its 16th Century single-arch Ottoman bridge which sits over the Neretva River.

You’ll have time to explore Mostar’s old town before we meet together at a traditional restaurant for a local meal.

We’ll then head to our accommodation for the night in Boracko Lake.

Day 2: Day two

We’ll start the day with breakfast followed by a drive to the Upper Neretva canyon in the Zupa Valley. From here, we’ll hike to the remote ruins of a 14th Century castle. These ruins sit atop a mountain and the path to get there is a challenging but fun one. We’ll take the path down that leads us through beech forests to the Rakitnica River. Here we’ll canyon for a few hours and enjoy lunch on the riverside.

After that, we’ll head to the shores of Boracko Lake (if we have time). There we’ll be able to relax and swim. We’ll once more spend the night at  Boracko Lake.

Day 3: Day three

After breakfast, we’ll return to the Neretva River for a day full of rafting. You’ll encounter fast fun rapids and calm pools of water. There will even be time for swimming breaks and jumping off cliffs!

We’ll have lunch in Konjic before exploring the Old City and its scenic bridge. The afternoon will be spent discovering the city of Blagaj, its monastery, medieval fortress and vulture sanctuary.

We’ll spend the night in Mostar.

Day 4: Day four

We’ll drop you back to the airport after you enjoy one last breakfast in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Thank you explore-share for a wonderful via feratta experience. We have been wanting to learn for a long time but don't have the facilities in Scotland. The guide Mitja was extremely helpful and knowledgeable, answering all my many questions and providing advice. On the day head to take another group but he quickly arranged another guide Borut, who was brilliant. We had a fantastic morning learning via ferrata at Hvadnik in the gorge. It gave us the confidence to later hire our own equipment and go out in Mojstrana. Altogether a five star + experience. Thank you.
