A classic mountain range in every sense, the Picos de Europa are absolutely stunning. It’s no wonder sailors on long journeys would breathe in relief when they spotted them on their trips home.
During this trip, you will get to choose from a number of amazing walls in the Picos de Europa. Each wall is different, and varies in both size and skill level required to climb them. In fact, some of the walls reach up to 500 meters in length!
Some of the options you will get to enjoy during this trip include the Needle Ostaicoechea, which is near the Fuente De cable car, Fresnidiellu and the Agero Cueto, located in the Liebana Valley. You can also enjoy the walls of the Cuede Pardecillos, Cueto Candilejas, the Red Forks, Pena Forgotten and Saint Charles. Needless to say, with such a diverse lists of options, you can be sure that during this trip you will have an unforgettable trad climbing experience.
To participate on this trip, you should be in good physical condition. You should also have some prior rock climbing experience.
The Picos de Europa are an incredible place to enjoy, explore and, of course, climb. So, if you would like to join me on a traditional climbing adventure in this famed mountain range, just send me a request.

AEGM Mountain Guide from Spain
Passionate for mountains since I was a kid, at 14 I started climbing in Atxarte (Vizcaya) walls, thanks to some friends. Later I discovered other activities such as canyoning, skiing and ice climbing, which allowed me to enjoy mountains both in summer and in winter.
I travelled around Europe, USA, India, Peru, Marruecos, among others, with the excuse of climbing some peak, wall, or doing some canyoning.
I've been a member of the 'Young Alpinists Technification Team' of the Basque Mountain Federation, and after gaining experience in all mountain disciplines I left behind my job as electronic technician to become a guide in order to pass on my passion and knowledge to others.
Stay up-to-date on the best adventures.
