Trekking the Neacola High Route, AK (12 days)

Are you looking for a demanding hike across one of the most solitary landscapes in Alaska? Then this 12-day Trekking through the Neacola High Route will surely meet your expectations!

This program will take you to the deepest areas of the Lake Clark National Park. The Neacola High Route will take you 60 miles through breathtaking and rarely visited spots.

But far from taking the easy route, this trip is designed to test your resistance, so it goes through the glaciated gut of the Alaskan mountain range. It goes over 4 glaciers and more than 30 miles of ice, starting from the beautiful Turquoise Lake and heading north to the amazing Two Lakes.

The trip will start with an incredible scenic flight from Anchorage to Port Alsworth, at the shores of Lake Clark. Here you’ll meet the team and discuss the following days while we check all the gear. Then comes the second flight, now in a floatplane, that will take you deep into the Park.

From then on it will be an astonishing journey through canyons, glaciers, across rivers and streams and up to cross mountain passes from where the views are indescribable.
