Description
Rock climbing is an exciting sport, that combines adrenaline and nature, and is a great way to practice coordination and motor skills. On this 1-day course, we will teach you the skills you need to get started with this thrilling sport and show you one of our favorite spots for rock climbing in the UK.
Throughout our 1-day program, we will learn and practice a wide set of skills. These include knots and belaying, safety awareness, hand and foot techniques, climbing techniques, body positions, route grades and climbing etiquette and history. Then we will try some exciting and challenging climbs at the sandstone crag of Harrison’s Rocks which is located in East Sussex.
Please keep in mind that this is an introduction to climbing. Therefore, it is intended for beginners or indoor climbers that wish to take their skills outdoors. Additionally, please consider that you will need a good fitness level to tackle the itinerary. Of course, we will be there to help and guide you every step of the way.
