Description

The Vallée Blanche is a glacial valley in the heart of the Mont Blanc Massif, below the Aiguille du Midi. It is at more than 3400 meters above sea level. The Vallée Blanche is surrounded by magnificent peaks and very close to many other mountain areas as Mont Maudit, Grandes Jorasses and Courmayeur.

In addition, the Vallée Blanche is one of the most famous ski areas in the Mont Blanc area thanks to its amazing ski descents. During this fun weekend we will enjoy an exciting powder run on the Italian side. We will take the Punta Helbronner cable car reaching 3462 meters of height. Then, we'll start skiing down along 2400 meters of vertical drop until Chamonix.

After such a fantastic day we can have something for lunch in Chamonix. Finally, a bus or a private taxi will take you back to Courmayeur. If you want to spend the night there, we will be happy to suggest to you some excellent hotel accommodation as well.

From December to end-April you will find in the Vallée Blanche mostly powder snow. I think springtime also offers perfect snow conditions to enjoy this freeride skiing program.

The maximum group size for this kind of trip is 8 participants. We also offer private and custom tours according to your own expectations and skills.

In case of a group program, participants must be safe off-piste skiers in all snow conditions. A perfect physical condition is also mandatory. Keep in mind you will cope skiing off-piste 4000 vertical meters per day.

Just have to say what an excellent week I had in Val Formazza last week with Heli Guides. Our guide Alberto was great and was able to find us great lines to ski as well as being great company and possessing a great nose for a fine bottle of wine. The hotel we stayed in - the Walser Schtuba - was great with comfortable rooms and top notch meals and wine. You could not ask for more after a great days skiing than to come back and relax in this great hotel. I was most impressed with all aspects of Heli Guides / Guide Monterosa and there willingness to make your holiday truly memorable.

We had a awesome time in Courmayeur! Conditions were perfect: fresh powder and a shiny sun. The guide was a really nice guy, very experienced mountain guide and fun! Would definitely recommend this trip to anyone!
