Via ferrata Vallcebre in Berguedà, Catalonia

Sitting at the foot of the magnificent Parc Natural del Cadí-Moixeró,  Vallcerbe is the ideal spot for a via ferrata adventure!

After meeting at 9 am at the church square in Vallcebre, we will drive to the trailhead and hike to the start of the via ferrata.

Before getting our gear on and beginning to climb, we will go over the plan for the day. The next three hours will be spent ascending the varied walls and cliffs of the Ferrata d'Empalomar until we reach a scenic vista.

From here, we will enjoy phenomenal views of the Catalan Pyrenees and enjoy the fresh air, before descending back down. You should be back by about 1 pm.

For those who opt to go on a full-day outing, we will spend an additional two hours climbing up another ridge line and climb up to its crest, enjoying even more incredible views.
