Walking tour of the “Cueva de Cirà” caves in Montón, near Montanejos, Spain

Discover an exciting activity and explore the Cueva de Cirà, on this half-day walking tour near Montanejos, Spain.

Located in the village of Montón, in Aragon, the Cueva de Cirà is a popular choice for those who never practiced caving before. Inside, we can contemplate stunning formations, such as stalactites and stalagmites.

As for the itinerary, we will meet in the Maxima Aventura office in Montanejos at 9.30 am. From there, we will drive to the village of Montón and prepare our equipment.

Then, we will enter the cave. I will prepare the rope on each point and be there to secure each part. Also, on the way, I will tell you about the history of the cave and its fantastic formations.

The principal section of the cave is flat and does not require the use of equipment. However, there is a more demanding section with narrow paths and two rappels at the end that will put our abilities to the test.

Once outside the cave, we will return to Montanejos, where you can use our showers and changing rooms. The activity ends at 2.30 pm.

Please, keep in mind that children must bu above 8 years old to participate.
