Backcountry skiing with a guide in Verbier

Olivier our guide was excellent and we would use him again. Unfortunately, we didn't do any Backcountry skiing due to the poor and dangerous conditions. I think Explore-Share should have been more proactive in keeping us informed of the conditions and the fact that it didn't allow for backcountry skiing; we forfeited a day with our guide given the conditions were so bad and the only option was to ski on piste. Further, I would have expected Explore-Share to advise us of the extra cost of the avalanche gear (an extra 600 francs) in advance.

Backcountry skiing with a guide in Verbier

Hi Gilbert, I wanted to drop you and Cédric a thank you note. You have had a crazy patience with all my complicated wishes and you really helped making it happen. I really appreciated you help and it was a super great experience, something I will not forget. We felt extremely comfortable with your guidance and hopefully there will be a chance to go on another tour in the future. I am now officially addicted to the deep snow experience J. If you need a client statement from you on your website or anything, just let me know. Happy to do so. I can also post something on social media…. Cheers and thanks again!
