Ven a este ascenso al Gran Paradiso, la montaña más alta completamente dentro de Italia. Esta cima constantemente nevada se encuentra al sur del Macizo del Mont Blanc, dentro del Parque Nacional Paradiso, en Val d’Aosta. ¡Una gran opción si estás buscando intentar un pico de 4000 m en esta región!
El Gran Paradiso también es referido como Gran Paradiso. Es una maravillosa escalada sobre nieve y glaciar, con algunas secciones de roca cerca de la cima. Nuestro punto de encuentro inicial es usualmente Pont.
Esta ruta particular nos llevará a través del legendario refugio Vittorio Emmanuelle – Vittorio Emanuele (2,735 m), y por la cresta oeste del Gran Paradiso.
Como parte de esta ruta, te guiaré a través del Glaciar Gran Paradiso. Incluye torres rocosas, morrenas, grietas ocultas y una arista nevada antes de alcanzar la cumbre (4,061 m, 13,323 ft). ¡Un desafío increíble y gratificante para cualquier escalador!
Este ascenso es bastante accesible para una montaña de 4000 m, adecuado tanto para escaladores experimentados como para aquellos no tan experimentados: desde principiantes hasta intermedios. Algunos montañistas realizan este tour como una forma de ganar aclimatación para cumbres más altas, como el Mont Blanc.
Los grupos en este programa serán entre 1 y 3 escaladores.
Entre otros elementos de equipo necesitarás piqueta y crampones.

I'm Nicola Rizzato. I was born on March, 1992, and I live near Milan. I've always loved adventure and being out in nature, but my passion for the mountains really took off during university. In 2015, I took a mountaineering course at the Guido Della Torre School in Legnano, and from that moment on, I was hooked. I started exploring the mountains year-round, getting into winter climbing with ice axes and skiing. I have great memories of those early years, especially all the crazy adventures in the mountains of the Larian Triangle and Valtellina, where I really learned the ropes alongside climbing buddies who are still good friends today.
In 2019, I joined the last edition of the Ragni di Lecco Academy with five other guys. It was an amazing project led by Fabio Palma, with help from Matteo Della Bordella and support from the Ragni group. This experience was a game-changer for me, as it helped me meet other mountaineering fans and gave me the skills to enjoy the sport more consciously. The mountain guides from the Ragni group showed me what this profession is really about, and it sparked my desire to become a Mountain Guide myself.
In the following years, I worked through the necessary climbs to be eligible for the entrance exams to become an aspiring mountain guide. In 2022, after passing the selection process, I started a two-year training and exam program with the Itlian Interregional Course. After the final exam, I earned the qualification that allows me to work as a guide. Now, I’m officially registered with the professional board of Mountain Guides in Lombardy.

Climbing with guide Guillaume was absolutely a highlight of my 2-week Europe vacation. Originally, we were planning on climbing in the Calanques, but the park was closed due to wind and fire danger. Guillaume chose another amazing location (Pic de Bretagne) based on my climbing abilities and preferences and kindly offered train station pick-up and hotel drop off, which I appreciated very much. Luis Silva was a great climbing guide and belayer! He taught me how to do moves that were difficult and encouraged me to try routes that were challenging for me! Because of his encouragement, I managed to complete these routes! I really enjoyed the climbs and completed 8 routes in the Sesimbra/Azoia area. The weather was perfect, no direct sun and cool enough to enjoy the climbs. Explore-Share made booking an outdoor climbing experience in Lisbon extremely easy. Luis, our guide, was fantastic, and the platform’s organization was flawless.
