Descripción

Marmolada es el pico más alto de las Dolomitas y un paraíso para los freeriders. Te invito a venir aquí y disfrutar de un día o varios días de emocionante esquí fuera de pista.

Espacios amplios, grandes giros, mucha nieve polvo, libertad: ¡de eso se trata todo! Te llevaré al interior de las impresionantes cimas blancas de Marmolada y descubriremos impresionantes couloirs y pistas de esquí fuera de pista.

Es difícil prometer nieve polvo virgen perfecta... aunque haré mi mejor esfuerzo para encontrarla. Sin embargo, puedo prometer deliciosa comida italiana, excelente café y magníficos paisajes.

Durante este programa, iremos al lado de Marmolada, conocida como la 'Reina de las Dolomitas'. Con 3 teleféricos subiremos hasta su segundo punto más alto, Punta Rocca (3265 m), donde habrá un excelente descenso de esquí fuera de pista de más de 1000 m hasta Lago di Fedaia, un hermoso lago a 2000 m.

Realmente disfruto visitar este lugar porque es un patio de recreo perfecto para aprender los fundamentos del freeride. Además, siempre podemos alcanzar niveles más altos de dificultad para complacer a todos.

Y si quieres otros desafíos, también podemos ir a esquiar freeride en Pordoi o Sassolungo.

Guía de Montaña

Hi! I'm Renato, IFMGA guide from the Dolomites, and I work together with my colleagues Robert, Bruno, Patrick, Benedetta & Walter (German speaking). If I'm not available to guide you, one of them will take care of you.

I was born in 1961, I live in Campitello di Fassa, in the Dolomites, together with my family. I have two sons, one is a mountain guide, the other is a ski instructor. I am a certified mountain guide since 1982, an instructor of guides, alpine ski instructor and a Federal coach for ISEF.

Being in the mountains has always been my passion, guiding people, teaching them climbing, mountaineering... during the various seasons of the year. I very much enjoy drawing nice curves in fresh powder snow and discover the charm of the frozen waterfalls.

My curriculum and professional mountaineering is made of many ascents and some openings of routes in the Dolomites and the Alps. I climbed in Yosemite Valley (California), Ben Nevis (Scotland) and Norway, Greece, Spain and Sardinia. I did also several high altitude climbs like Mt Denali (Alaska), Ama Dablam (6828m), Cho Oyu (8201m), Manaslu (8163m), Shivling in India (6545m), Cotopaxi and Chimborazo in Ecuador (5897m and 6310m), Patagonia (Argentina).

We had a great day skiing off piste with Etienne on Marmolada. He is a superb off piste mountain guide and having grown up skiing on the mountain with his father who is also a mountain guide, he has a vast knowledge of the Mountain and the conditions, together with the local history. The communication and advice in advance of the trip was also excellent, particularly regarding the best places in the area to hire skis and avalanche equipment. In summary, I have no hesitation in recommending Gauthier and Etienne - we had a superb day and would very highly recommend this trip.

We chose Etienne because of his unusual qualities of being a qualified as a ski instructor as well as an IFMGA mountain guide, and we were not disappointed. The combination of his knowledge, experience and friendly enthusiasm enabled us to enjoy a variety of conditions in the Dolomites while improving our technique through fun and innovative approaches. I would have no doubt about hiring Etienne again and highly recommend him as an instructor and/or a guide.
