We had a fantastic time on our guided day-tour of bouldering in Fontainebleau. I would highly recommend this experience, especially if you don't have a rental car, or if you want to maximize your limited climbing time in Fontainebleau. Our guide, Léo, was very fun and knowledgeable, helping with beta and finding interesting boulders of suitable difficulty (one girl in our group was far more advanced at climbing than the other 2 of us, and Leo was able to find bouldering areas where we could still be in close proximity to each other). He also brought some delicious homegrown strawberries from his own farm which was amazing and unexpected! 5
Leo is the absolute best. Took me to climbs that are mixed of my strengths and weaknesses and shared techniques of how to best climb the routes. He’s strong so knowledgeable and best catches I’ve had!5

He was safety-conscious while also being laid back and fun-loving. He was really great with our 10yo and 12yo kids, who have a lot of climbing experience but can definitely still use support and pointers. And he was also great with me (a beginner) and my husband (an expert). On top of all of it, he was fun to climb with, and we all loved watching him get a problem he'd not sent before.
