Come with me to the Lérida province, in Catalonia, and take a 1-day avalanche course in Val d’Aran.
Snowboarding is not all about having fun during the descents, it is also about reading terrains and being safe. If you join this course, you will learn different techniques to be prepared if an avalanche occurs. If you want to ride through backcountry terrains, the contents of this course are vital.
This course will provide you with the necessary skills to analyze the snow conditions in order to enjoy snowboarding safely. You will learn about avalanche risks and how to use a transceiver, shovel and probe in the appropriate way. Also, I will teach you to search and find buried victims.
This course is perfect for intermediate snowboarders who want to improve their knowledge in avalanche risks and enjoy their backcountry runs safely. I strongly recommend participants to have previous snowboarding experience and a good fitness level. Also, please take into account that I will teach this course only in Spanish.
Do not hesitate to get in touch with me if you want to participate in this course. All you have to do is send the request to book your place.
Also, if you want to enjoy snow activities in Val d’Aran, you can take a look at my splitboarding and freeride snowboarding programs.
