Descend the fascinating depths of Orrido di Botri, the longest and most imposing gorge in Tuscany, with the IFMGA-certified Prorock Outdoor Team.
Tucked away in the Tuscan-Emilian Apennines Mountains, neighbouring the green-covered peaks of Alpe Tre Potenze and Rondianio, lies the beautiful gorge of Orrido di Botri.
Located in a nature reserve, carved out by the rivers of Mariana and Ribellina, the gorges are home to environmental treasures, from its unique geology and landscape to its flora and fauna. The two rivers finally unite into the Rio Pelago that runs through the last gorge.
The Rio Mariana is home to a number of rope rappels to the confluence with the Rio Ribellina.
Beginning in the Tuscan city of Lucca, we ascend to the Casentini refuge, resting at the entrance of the gorge. The descent will take us approximately 3-5 hours and we will end in the touristic section of the area which will take another hour.
Reserve your place among the stunning Tuscan setting and experience canyoning on this full day descent to the lovely large gorge of Orrido di Botri. Discover the treasures of wild Tuscany.
