Description

Achen Lake and its surrounding majestic mountains await for you on this rock climbing course. Join us for the day. And explore this marvellous place while you learn everything you need to know about this incredible activity.

This region around the Achen Lake in the Austrian town of Tyrol is without any doubt one of the best rock climbing spots in the country. Here, you will find more than 250 sport climbing routes, along with different alpine classics. So it is the ideal location for this rock climbing course.

Your classrooms will be the magnificent Karwendel and Rofan peaks. And your teacher, one of our expert and certified guides. They’ll teach you all the basics on rock climbing, including anchor, rappelling, belaying and rope techniques.

Also, please note this is a private trip. Hence, your guide will follow you and your group exclusively. Our goal will be to keep you safe throughout our lessons. But we also want you to have a marvellous time here. What’s more, by the end of the day we want you to have gained enough skills and confidence to try more challenging ascents on your next adventure.

The duration of the program is 8 hours approximately. So participants must have a good fitness level. Also, don’t forget to bring adequate clothing and shoes, as well as snacks and water.

Thank you explore-share for a wonderful via feratta experience. We have been wanting to learn for a long time but don't have the facilities in Scotland. The guide Mitja was extremely helpful and knowledgeable, answering all my many questions and providing advice.
