1-day Rock Climbing, Gumna, Japan: Mt. Komochi, Shishiiwa

Another one of the many magnificent mountains scattered throughout Japan, Mount Komochi (1,296m) is a great place for rock climbing. And on this full day trip, you will get to enjoy a brand new, 6 pitch route, which has just opened near an already existing route. Moreover, you will get to climb on the sensational Shishiiwa rock (1,054m), near the summit of the mountain.

The trip will begin at the JR Shibukawa Station at approximately 9:00 am. From there, we will make the short trip to Mount Komochi and start climbing. And at the end of the day you can return to your accommodations and enjoy the many highlights of Gunma.

As a result of the newly opened route, much more variety has been added to the Mount Komochi climbing experience. Hence giving a climbers that otherwise might not want to climb the existing route a different opportunity to enjoy this great peak. It also gives climbers another position to enjoy the sensational views that you can enjoy from the peak as well as the Shishiiwa rock.
