Description

Come with me to explore the wonderful Sonnblick peak in the Stubach Valley. Ideal for first time ski tourers, this austrian three-thousander offers a fantastic ski terrain and beautiful views. You’ll want to come back again and again!

We’ll start our trip at Rudolfshütte and drive up to the frozen Weißsee reservoir. We’ll then ascend to the peak, at 3.088 meters, through terrains and glacier backs to be rewarded with amazing views of other three-thousanders. Some of them include Grossglockner and Großvenediger.

This trip is recommended for beginner skiers. The gentle ascents and lifts available make this place easy and exciting for those looking to learn and enjoy this wonderful sport.
