With 2,912 meters above sea level, Corno Grande is located in the Gran Sasso d’Italia massif, in the Apennines. This astonishing mountain is the highest peak of the mountain range that crosses the entire Italian peninsula. The second highest peak in the range is the Mount Amaro (2,793 meters), located in the Majella massif.
Apart from the highest peaks of the Apennines, this trip also offers the opportunity to explore the Mount Prena (2,561 meters) and the Mount Aquila (2,494 meters).
Besides, this traverse will allow participants to enjoy skiing in small groups with safety and comfort.
