Would you like to learn new winter climbing techniques in a unique natural setting? Then join us on this 1-day winter climbing course in Brasov, Romania and learn dry-tooling techniques with us.
Dry-tooling is a type of rock climbing that uses ice-axes on rock that is not covered in snow or ice. On this 1-day program, we will learn this exciting technique and practice it in the mountains near Brasov. To do so, we will go to the Bucegi National Park, in the Bucegi Mountains, where we will find a wide variety of amazing winter climbing options.
Please keep in mind that you need a good fitness level to join this program. Also, some prior climbing experience is required. Of course, we will be there to help and guide you on the way, and supply you with all the explanations you need to master this technique. This program will not only give you the chance to acquire new rock climbing skills but also show you the beauty of the mountains of Romania in the winter.

Thanks Lucian for an amazing trip in the Făgăraș mountains, he was very skilled and flexible with regards to shifting conditions. Although we did not reach the peak due to bad weather, he made up a new route and I got the full 2 days regardless. Would strongly recommend to people with a little bit of hiking/climbing experience at least. Bring warm clothes, gloves and headwear!
