Description

Join this beautiful and exciting long-distance trek around Monte Rosa!

Located in the Pennine Alps between Switzerland and Italy, the Monte Rosa Massif is a beautiful place to enjoy hiking and trekking. On this 10-day trip, we’ll be able to experience stunning views of the Swiss Alps and the Matterhorn from the Teodulo pass. The hike will also gives us the benefit of appreciating a road full of pine forests, hidden valleys, waterfalls, colossal alpine peaks, high passes and glaciers. Some of the views will also include the Weissmies (4023m) and the Rimpfischhorn (4198).

The route around Monte Rosa is one of the most amazing and demanding long-distance treks in all Europe. This is why I recommend this trip to participants with a high level of fitness and experience. Some of the days include long treks in high altitudes and hikes between 4 and 8 hours. I am happy to advise you if you need to decide whether this trip is for you.

We’ll start and end our tip in the charming village of Saas Grund. Some of the nights will be spent in refuges and hotels, accessing private rooms whenever possible, located in breathtaking locations. We’ll also get to sleep in the iconic mountain town of Zermatt.

We booked 3 full days of private showshoeing in Chamonix. Emma Jack was very responsive to our inquiry during booking and our emails leading up to our trip. We were paired with a local guide, Sebastian, who was very knowledgeable about the Chamonix area and picked the perfect spots for us to snowshoe each day based on the weather and snowfall accumulation. I highly recommend booking your trip with Emma Jack and would use her again if we return.

Your service was wonderful - it was easy to use and put me in touch with my hiking guide Suze through Cloud 9 Adventure! I couldn't have asked for a better guide or day of hiking in Chamonix.

Emma is a very nice and attentive guide. She is super healthy and energetic, always smiling. She has a great enthusiasm in general. Very knowledgeable about nature, she shares and teaches with care. Also, she always pays attention to each and any person, and especially adapts pace so that the hike remains a pleasant adventure and memory for all. Plus, she is very cautious of weather and mountain conditions, and has a lot of resources and ideas to adapt to the situation and hikers. In short, very nice and professional! You feel in good hands.
