Description

The Mont Blanc massif is a perfect place for hiking. Over the course of 5 days, we will cover some of the ground of the very well known Tour du Mont Blanc, which will take us over 3-countries and allow us to explore some amazing valleys, glaciers, and mountains.

The TMB is one of the most famous tours of the Northern Alps and involves 3 countries, 7 alpine valleys, 71 glaciers, and 400 peaks.  The emblematic Mont-Blanc will be our pillar on this hike that begins in Chamonix and ends in Val d’Aosta.

Each day, you will hike between 5 to 7 hours. Altitude gain will be an average of 700 m/day, sometimes less, sometimes more. Therefore, a good fitness level is mandatory. In the evenings, you will stay in mountain huts and cottages, typical of the Mont Blanc massif, lovely places to enjoy dusk together, far away from everyday troubles and concerns. You can find a detailed itinerary below.

Up to 12 people can join this hike. Local IML certified guide François will be guiding the tour. He is a true local as his family settled into the region over 500 years ago and he is the ideal TMB hiking guide because he truly knows the area and the culture like the palm of his hand.

Please contact us if you would like to join this unique hike around Mont Blanc. We will plan the tour together, on the most convenient date for you. It will be a great pleasure to guide you on these beautiful trails and to be able to share these terrific places in the mountains.

Dommage de recevoir des infos en anglais et d'avoir une quantité de mails pour une activité qui pourrait être organisée très simplement... Sinon, l'activité en elle-même était très chouette :-) Merci

Gauthier was quick to respond in the initial booking process and answered any and all questions. Closer to our trip, he helpfully set me up with our guide on what’s app so we could discuss the plan. Our guide Ivan in Fountainbleau was fantastic - helpful, knowledgeable and friendly. I look forward to working with both explore-share and Ivan again in the future. Would highly recommend.

We had a fantastic 2 days with Christophe - we enjoyed lots of climbing, gained confidence in lead climbing outdoors and learnt a lot about basic safety and rescue techniques. Christophe is a very experienced, knowledgable, encouraging and patient guide and a lot of fun to learn from. The crags that we visited were in good condition and the surrounding area was beautiful.
