Description

The Naranjo de Bulnes in Spain, is definitely one of the top destinations for rock climbing around the world.

There are many routes we can take to reach the summit of the Naranjo de Bulnes, like the Leiva and Rabada-Navarro on the west face. But here are some of the most famous:

South Face- Direct Route Martinez

This is the easiest route, as it combines an ascent of 150 meters, with a final push to reach the top. And it doesn’t exceed a grade V classification. Also it goes through a system of cracks and flumes, brimming with easy grips, and top notch rock. You can approach it via the Celada channel. Thereupon the descent takes three rappels along the same route.

East Face- Cepeda Route

After the south face it is one of the most used routes, and many consider it has the best rock on the Naranjo de Bulnes. It has large, compact and smooth rock with excellent grips. Think of it as a great way to train for other major ascents!

North Face- Pidal-Cainejo Route

Aside from being beautiful, this is a historic route, being Pedro Pidal and Gregorio Pérez, el Cainejo, the first ones to conquer it. And as you ascend on this fantastic route, you understand why it has such an important place amongst rock climbers.

West Side – Murciana Route

Standing at 500 meters, it is a challenging and highly rewarding route. It is a mecca for rock climbers, and a great way of preparing for some of the most difficult ascents. And once you reach its summit, you’ll understand why it’s so famous!

So don’t miss out the chance to reach the top of the Naranjo de Bulnes on this 2-days rock climbing adventure. Send me a message and let’s embark on this journey together.

Pau adapted to our physical condition and help us to get trough the challenges of the trip. We had a great experience! The reason for lower rate of site service is the reception of numerous payment reminder while the payment was completed. I had to communicate via email and provide several overviews of my transaction to ensure my reservation.
