Powerful, completely glaciated, the Strahlhorn –one of the easiest 4000 meters peaks– is best climbed with skis. The tour I offer is technically simple but quite long, so the climb requires a very good physical condition.
When the sun rises early in the morning and the snow-white peak shines in the dawn, the name of the mountain –”Beam Horn”– will come clear to you. The view from the summit, at 4190 meters, is spectacular. I guarantee you that the skiing downhill promises extraordinary enjoyment.
Plus, we will spend the night at the excellently organized, comfortable and friendly Brittania hut, at 3030 meters.
In order to enjoy this tour, you need to be able to climb for about 5 hours. Of course, ski touring experience is necessary.
Please note that if the weather makes it impossible to do this tour, I will switch to another destination. Don’t worry, the touring options in the region are numerous and exciting! In any case, we will talk about it only if necessary.
So, if you are ready to enjoy an unforgettable ski tour, do not hesitate to send me a request!

Our guides Elis and Paulo were Stupefacente! (amazing!). Thanks again to Peaks Hunter, Elis & Paulo (who came over straight from Mont Blanc the same day!) for moving our climb day (due to weather changing), and leading our group on a fantastic experience! We will be back!

I had two guides, with Livio we summited Pollux as acclimatization part of 4 days trip, and Marco as a guide fir summiting of Matterhorn. Both guides are very acknowledged, experienced and real professional guides. They were predicted any dangerous situations, keep eyes on every step of client. My rate is 6+ from 5.
Stay up-to-date on the best adventures.
