Join us for this two-day course to learn all the skills you need to hike safely in the snow.
On the first day, we’ll cover proper use of the most basic snow equipment, ice axes and crampons, as well as the various self-arrest techniques. On the second day you’ll learn how to use snow-anchors, ascend fixed lines, and be part of a roped team. We will also cover crevasse rescue upon request.
Led by a passionate professional guide, this course is a lot of fun and very efficient. You’ll finish equipped with even more than the basic skills to get started hiking on snowy and icy terrain. With the strong base of knowledge that this course provides, you’ll master this new terrain in no time.

Thank you explore-share for a wonderful via feratta experience. We have been wanting to learn for a long time but don't have the facilities in Scotland. The guide Mitja was extremely helpful and knowledgeable, answering all my many questions and providing advice. On the day head to take another group but he quickly arranged another guide Borut, who was brilliant. We had a fantastic morning learning via ferrata at Hvadnik in the gorge.
