This 2-day Val d’Aran trad climbing course will teach you how to face a long climb with or without your gear.

Keep in mind that this is not an introductory course. So you’ll need to know the basic notions of rock climbing and rope use. I’ll show you how to climb on clean walls and adventure terrain. I will check out your level to design the course according to your needs. Please note that this course can only be taught in Spanish.

Therefore I’ll focus in what you lack, either in theory or practice: choosing an approach, maps interpretation and gear assessment are some of the items we’ll cover. And then, we’ll go to the rocks and figure out everything you need to climb safely.

But most of all, the first rule of this course will be to enjoy it! We’ll be climbing around the beautiful Val d’Aran, in Catalonia. It’s an iconic place to practice this sport in Spain. So you’ll be surrounded by other climbers, which makes the whole experience much more enriching.

So please don’t hesitate to contact me with any questions you may have. I’ll get everything ready for you to enjoy this 2-day Val d’Aran trad climbing course.

And if you’d like to check out some of my winter courses, please take a look at my Val d’Aran ice climbing course or my Val d’Aran glacier course.
