Filled with 4,000 meter plus peaks, the Altai Mountains, which separate Russia, Mongolia and China are absolutely breath taking. And, throughout this trip, you will get to ski tour through them, all the while soaking in their splendour.
Another great aspect of this trip is that you will be spending your nights in Yurts. And, to get to the various skiing locations, we will be utilizing a mix of camels, horses and 4×4 trucks.
Perfect for the truly adventurous, those types of travellers who love to explore, this ski touring journey through the Altai Mountains is not for the inexperienced. Participants on this trip should have plenty of prior back country skiing experience. You should also be able to ski at an intermediate to advanced level as well as be in good physical condition.
If you are looking for a ski touring trip that will test you physically, while providing you with a once-in-a-lifetime adventure, this 21 day expedition is for you. To join me on this trip in the Altai Mountains of Mongolia, all you have to do is send a request.
I also offer a 13-day ski touring trip in the Kamchatka Peninsula, which you can enjoy here.
