  • Take advantage of the stragetic location of the hut
  • Dicover a wide range of interesting routes
  • It is possible to reach 14 summits from the refuge!

The Benevolo Hut in Val di Rhemes is a must for everyone passionate about ski touring. Come and stay there for 3 days and enjoy its strategic location, discovering the wide range of possible routes it offers! The hut is located in the Aosta Valley, one of the most interesting areas in the Alps to practice this sport.

From the refuge you can indeed reach 14 different peaks: standard climbs like the Pointe de la Galise and the Pointe de Calabre or more technical as the Tsanteleina and the Grande Parei (in these cases there will be a reduction in the number of participants).

My goal during our stay in the refuge is to take advantage of the different orientations of the slopes to get the best snow for unique ski tours.

It is also possible to make crossings to the neighboring valleys, like Valgrisenche to the Bezzi refuge, Valsavarenche to the Chivasso refuge, or Val d’Isère in France to the Prariond refuge.

It is rather difficult to establish a detailed program in advance, given the different possibilities. Usually, we meet very early in the morning to go up from the hut and climb a summit. We can also have a short course on avalanche rescue. The beer on the refuge terrace in the evening will help us plan the following days.

So if you are in for this 3-day ski tour, just book your trip and come join me in the Aosta Valley! Get ready for amazing descents on great snow!

Mountain Guide

I was born in 1981 and live in the Aosta Valley, surrounded by the wonderful peaks of my region.

I started guiding in 2016.

I like all mountain activities: freeride skiing and ice climbing in winter, ski mountaineering in spring, mountaineering in the high mountain in summer and rock climbing whenever possible!

I was looking for a local guide for a hike I was planning and came across Explore-Share. They seemed to have good reviews and so decided to give them a try. The experience was very positive and completely happy with their service. I will be using them again for next trip.

Easy to set up and find the perfect trip. Informative site that is easy to use. Guides are all great to work with and communicate all arrangements needed. As simple as can be!

Thank you explore-share for a wonderful via feratta experience. We have been wanting to learn for a long time but don't have the facilities in Scotland. The guide Mitja was extremely helpful and knowledgeable, answering all my many questions and providing advice. On the day head to take another group but he quickly arranged another guide Borut, who was brilliant. We had a fantastic morning learning via ferrata at Hvadnik in the gorge. It gave us the confidence to later hire our own equipment and go out in Mojstrana. Altogether a five star + experience. Thank you.
