Description

Make the trip to the Trollaskagi Peninsula in northern Iceland and reap the rewards of a remote splitboarding program! I will privately guide you to the best local runs and you will ride three days on the edge of the Greenland Sea!

Tucked away between fjords in the north of Iceland, the Trollaskagi Peninsula is known for its dense mountains and the terrain that accompanies it. Glacier runs are set beside high passes, and the climate is perfect for a snow adventure.

Our program is designed to give you all the time you need to discover untouched powder and to carve your way through previously unexplored runs. Over the course of three days, you will get to experience the best parts of the entire region, and you will never have to put up with sub-par conditions. We will have the time and ability to find the best conditions to ride and to tour.

With an abundance of runs for every boarder, we can enjoy open bowls, steep couloirs, or both! Access from the ocean means a splitboarding program heads up from the water, and every time we return for the evening we are riding down to the sea.

Our nights will be spent at the Karsla Lodge, near the village of Dalvik. We will have an in-house chef, ocean-view hot tub, and the area boasts some incredible geothermal baths that you can enjoy. It is the perfect evening luxury after a long day of boarding.

Should you happen to book this trip early in the season, you will get to enjoy the Northern Lights while you are riding. And if you arrive later in the season, you will be able to splitboard into the night and morning without ever losing the sun!

This area is my home, and I am excited to get to share it with you. Experiencing Troll Peninsula with a local guide will give you insight that you otherwise would never have, and I can guarantee to give you a fun and safe adventure that will stay with you long after you leave the slopes.

This sustained trip requires some splitboarding experience, and you should be comfortable with long days out in the snow. You should be in good shape to get the most out of this trip.

Book this three-day splitboarding journey through the Troll Peninsula NOW and experience the rare and remote beauty of Iceland!

If you don´t want such a long trip, we can also take a day to splitboard through the Troll Peninsula. Or we can try heliskiing through the region!
