Description
Adventure lovers, come with us to this freeride skiing trip to Livigno in Italy! This 4-day expedition will allow you to have the best of times while practicing a great winter sport.
The location of Livigno will be our base. This amazing ski-touring area is situated inside the Italian Alps.
We will then freeride to other destinations, depending on the snow and weather.
And, more importantly, we have to consider the avalanche conditions in the resorts we want to visit.
Some nearby locations for us to explore are St. Moritz in Switzerland, and Bormio and Santa Caterina in Italy.
But if you prefer, you can freeride ski along the fantastic backcountry area of Livigno.
We will use our first day to meet and decide which area(s) you want to explore.
As soon as you make your decision, the freeride skiing adventure will begin.
The Monterosa Guides are a group of IFMGA/UIAGM certified mountain guides and expert skiers.
And as connoisseurs of the area, we encourage you to come with us and enjoy a unique trip.
Each skiing group will have 5 people maximum. The goal is to make sure your complete safety along the expedition.
If you are planning a trip for fewer people, please contact us for arrangements.
There are also many accommodation options you can choose from.
However, all the hotels are all 3-star and the price includes half-board meals.
In order to sign up for the trip, we require you to be a safe off-piste skier, regardless the weather conditions.
Also, to be in optimal physical shape to be able to freely ski up to 6000 vertical meters a day.
And, depending on the program you choose, we may have to hike for about 30 minutes.

Itinerary
Day 1: Meeting-Agreeing on the skiing destionations
We will meet at the hotel. The guide will introduce himself, present the program for the next few days, check the material and then you will finally go skiing. Remember that the destinations will depend on the snow, weather and avalanche conditions.
Day 2 to 4: Freeride Skiing
Flexible program according to snow, weather and avalanche conditions. On the last day, you will return the rental equipment.

Guide Monte Rosa was founded after a strong snowfall in winter 1996. The Monte Rosa, while it is probably one of the most charming places in the Alps, is our base. The area offers unforgettable experience - the spectacular and in the same time fascinating landscape of the Monte Rosa is part of our freeride and heliski program.
