Go on this 4-day freeride skiing or snowboarding program in Val d'Annivier with Mege, IFMGA certified mountain guide. Open to experts and beginners.
If freeride skiing and snowboarding is your life, join me on an amazing 4-day program in Val d’Annivier! This spot is a personal favorite of mine and I am happy to guide you on this adventure.
Note: this program is also available as a weekly (5 days) program, or as a 3-day program. Check out the links below.
To begin the program, I will meet you at Grimenz, 10am on the first day, ready to start skiing. For the rest of the program, we will be based either in Zinal or Grimenz. Each day, I will guide you on short ascents to the best freeride skiing spots in Val d’Annivier; like Zinal, St Luc, Grimenz, Vercorin and Nax.
Since its terrain offers slopes and runs for both beginners and experts, Val d’Annivier is a particularly convenient area. Plus, during the season, these are all usually “powder guaranteed” spots.
To participate in this program, skiers and snowboarders need to have a good set of skills on the slopes. Each group is usually between 4 and 6 guests.
This program is available for both open and private groups. It is also open for both beginners and experts, although within each group guests need to share smiliar skill levels.
The equipments you will need include: skis set up for ski touring (or split-boards) with matching skins, beacon, shovel, and probe. Most of these can be rented.

Hotel in Zinal or Grimenz
10am in Grimenz, by the cassier of the cablecar to get the liftpass, ready to start skiing!
I was born in 1972 and currently live in Steinhausen (Switzerland) with my wife Susan and my kids, Norin and Lenny.
When it comes to freeriding, I gained most of my winter experience in Chamonix, the epicenter of freeskiing, skiing, ice climbing and alpinism. The passion that I discovered here pushed me to my next challenge: becoming a mountain guide. I since have gained my official Swiss Federal Mountain Guide diploma.
Thanks to my work, I am able to enjoy nature in its endless, unrestricted wild beauty. This privilege fills me with energy on each tour, in which I try to transmit this energy and my experience to my guests. I hope you join me soon on the beautiful peaks of the Alps and, why not, other sites around the world.
