Join Mege, IFMGA certified mountain guide, on this 5-day freeride skiing or snowboarding program in Val d'Annivier. Open to experts and beginners!
To all the skiers and snowboarders out there who love freeride skiing: join me on an amazing week in Val d’Annivier this season! This destination is a personal favorite of mine and I am ready to share my knowledge of it with you.
Note: this program is also available as a 4-day program, or as a 3-day program. Check out the links below.
Based either in Zinal or Grimenz, I will guide you on daily ascents to some of the best areas for freeride skiing. Val d’Annivier offers a great variety of spots. This includes countless unique descents in: Zinal, Grimenz, St Luc, Vercorin and Nax.
All of these areas are easily accesible with short ascents. During the season, these are “powder guaranteed” areas. The Val d’Annivier is a great option because it has spots suitable for beginners as well as countless runs for experts.
To participate in this program, skiers and snowboarders need to have a good set of skills on the slopes. Groups are usually of a minimum of 4 guests. This program is possible with a group of less than 4, but the price will be higher per person.
This program is available for both open and private groups. This progam is also open for beginners and experts, although within each group guests need to share the same skill level.
Among the equipments you need to bring along are skis set up for ski touring (or split-boards) with matching skins, beacon, shovel, and probe. Most of these can be rented.

I was born in 1972 and currently live in Steinhausen (Switzerland) with my wife Susan and my kids, Norin and Lenny.
When it comes to freeriding, I gained most of my winter experience in Chamonix, the epicenter of freeskiing, skiing, ice climbing and alpinism. The passion that I discovered here pushed me to my next challenge: becoming a mountain guide. I since have gained my official Swiss Federal Mountain Guide diploma.
Thanks to my work, I am able to enjoy nature in its endless, unrestricted wild beauty. This privilege fills me with energy on each tour, in which I try to transmit this energy and my experience to my guests. I hope you join me soon on the beautiful peaks of the Alps and, why not, other sites around the world.
