3-day rock climbing adventure in Montserrat

Combine culture, rock climbing and nature on this 3-day  adventure in Montserrat, Catalonia!

One of the most popular mountains in Catalonia is the Montserrat Massif. This range is famous for its particular and diverse rock formations which make it an ideal spot to enjoy rock climbing. Furthermore, this area is also a very important place regarding culture and history. The Montserrat Monastery features a big library, a museum and a remarkable architecture and is a place of considerable cultural interest.

This program will allow you to explore this amazing region over the course of three days. The day before we start our program, we’ll meet in the evening in the little village of El Bruc, situated in Anoia, Barcelona. Then, on day 1, we’ll have the option to explore either Gorra Frígia or Can Jorba. On day 2, more challenging climbs await us, such as El Bisbe, l’Elefant or La Cadireta del Diable. On day 3, we will visit El Cavall Bernat, one of the most famous mountains in the area.

Please take into account that this itinerary is subject to variations. We can arrange the activities according to your level and expectations so you can make the best out of this adventure in Montserrat. As for the accommodation, we can spend the nights in a hotel or in a gîte in El Bruc.

Additionally, please consider that the routes will be demanding . We’ll spend around 6 hours per day on our activities. Therefore, this program is for experienced climbers with a very good level of fitness.  Of course, I will be there to help and guide you.
