4-day splitboarding trip in Frey Hut, Bariloche

Come with Luciano, an IFMGA certified mountain guide, and enjoy splitboarding during 4 days around the Frey Hut, located in the beautiful Patagonian city of Bariloche.

4 Days

Jul - Oct

Enjoy splitboarding in  Patagonia and contemplate its astonishing landscapes on this 4-day trip.

Located in Argentina,  near Bariloche and inside the Nahuel Huapi National ParkCerro Catedral is an incredible mountain and the biggest ski center in South America. It is home to the Frey Hut and where our trip will take place.

During the first day of the program, we’ll transfer you from Bariloche to Cerro Catedral and take the lift to the higher point in the ski resort. Then, we’ll trek to the Van Titter valley pass. On days 2 and 3, we’ll enjoy splitboarding through different valleys and have the chance to explore this amazing area. Finally, on the last day, we’ll return to Bariloche and say goodbye.

I offer you a 4-day program in which you’ll spend 3 nights in a hut. However, we can adapt the trip to suit your needs and make it  3 or 2-days long, if you prefer. Also, take into account that prior splitboarding experience and a very good physical condition are a requirement for this trip.

Have you ever wanted to do splitboarding in Patagonia? This is the perfect chance to do it! All you have to do is send your request and book this trip now.

If you want to explore the area further, I also offer ski touring and hut-to-hut programs in Bariloche.

Thank you explore-share for a wonderful via feratta experience. We have been wanting to learn for a long time but don't have the facilities in Scotland. The guide Mitja was extremely helpful and knowledgeable, answering all my many questions and providing advice. On the day head to take another group but he quickly arranged another guide Borut, who was brilliant. We had a fantastic morning learning via ferrata at Hvadnik in the gorge. It gave us the confidence to later hire our own equipment and go out in Mojstrana. Altogether a five star + experience. Thank you.
