Come with us on a 4-day adventure to remember in the Bucegi Mountains. This is one stunning mountain range filled with a range of hiking paths and stunning scenery.The Bucegi Mountains are part of the mighty Carpathian Mountain Range which snakes its way through Romania and dominates the landscape.
What to expect
The landscapes in these mountains are really beautiful. The highest peak here is Mount Omu which sits at 2505 meters. This area is also home to the Prahova Valley, where you’ll find beautiful forests, a river, and even a castle.There is also a wide range of trails to choose from here, including some pretty difficult ones. Our mountain guides are certified and experienced so they’ll be sure to show you the best trails for your level and make sure you’re having a great time.We’ll spend anywhere from six to ten hours hiking on this trip and then in the evenings we’ll sleep in the Padina Mountain Hut. Day 1: Arrival in Padina
Padina – Horoabelor Valley – Saua Strunga – Descent in Padina. (5-6 hours trekking and an altitude difference of level 600 m)
Day 2: Day two
Padina – Babele – Sphinx – Caraiman Cross – Costila Relay – La Ceardac – Omu Peak – Turkish Mecca – Ialomiţa Waterfall – Cave – Padina (8-10 hours trekking and an altitude difference of level 1,000 m)
Day 3: Day three
Padina – Sauna Strunga – Poiana Gutanu – Valea Gaura – Omu – Batrana – Cave – Padina (8-10 hours trekking and an altitude difference of 1,600 m)
Day 4: Day four
Padina – Vf cu Dor – Miorița – Fornica – Piatra Arsa – Cave – Laptici Valley – Plaiul lui Pacala – Cave – Padina (7-8 hours trekking and a level difference – 600 m)
